Inverted Colors Optical Illusion
To get the effect of this illusion you must stare into the center of the image for 15 seconds (the time I have it set for) then, the image will change from inverted colors to black and white but your brain will not proccess this so it will seem as though the picture is in color until you look away.
I created this by simply adding filters to one image and using an animation window to turn it into a gif.
Thatcher Effect
"The Thatcher effect or Thatcher illusion is a phenomenon where it becomes more difficult to detect local feature changes in an upside-down face, despite identical changes being obvious in an upright face" (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thatcher_effect).
I made this gif by selecting Bernie's eyes, nose, and mouth and flipping them upside down. After they were blended I made a copy of the photo and flipped it, keeping the other right side up. I then opened an animation window and turned the two photos into a gif that goes for four seconds.
Leaning Illusion
This illusion is the same picture side by side but since we are used to seeing parallel lines converge, seeing them diverge make them look like they are going in different directions. Hence the reason these two photos look different while being the same.
Profile Optical Illusion
For this illusion, i took two photos of my face, one straight on and one of my profile (similar to a mugshot) and layered them on top of eachother. I then lined them up and used the pin tool to carve my face out of my face in a way that makes it hard to tell wether or not i am looking at the camera or to the side.
